John is a graduate of Florida State University and native of the sunshine state; born and raised in Dunedin, Florida. He's had a passion for the hospitality industry since a young age and has worked in every facet of a restaurant and hotel operation from server to General Manager. He founded Shermetaro Speaking in 2022 and currently serves as the North East Regional Manager with the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association in Jacksonville Florida. His speaking experience includes countless restaurant, hotel and state agency training seminars on communications, problem solving, food safety, alcohol compliance and customer service. Past/current clients include Florida Parks Department, Florida Department of Agriculture, Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Arizona Department of Public Safety.
