I started off as a dishwasher at 15 years old. I worked all hourly positions as prep, line, busser, server, bartender before moving into management. I worked as a bar manager, assistant KM, service manager, GM and Director of Operations for companies like Wolfgang Puck, Chevy's Mexican Restaurant, the Boundry, Merchants, Jeff Ruby Steakhouse, and Acme Feed & Seed (the 31st highest grossing restaurant in the country). Today, I am the managing partner of Steelbach restaurant in Tampa, a restaurant executive coach, author, and speaker helping restaurant owners and executives all over the country crush it! During my journey, I learned from my own stupid mistakes and the mistakes of others as well as having some great mentors along the way. During that time, I discovered some false beliefs that almost destroyed our industry. I set out to figure out what mindsets and perceptions needed a shift and I applied them over the last 15 years.
